Figure Review – Hayate Yagami doll by Azone – 1/6 27cm

Being one of my first actual ‘dolls’, I was skeptical on how the quality would be with something I have just.. Never bought before or even laid actual eyes on in person.  I heard a lot of great things about Azone productions and figured I would give them a shot.  They surpassed my expectations 10-fold.

This is my figure review of Hayate Yagami from “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS”, which is the third season of the series.  For those who have not seen the show, I will briefly explain who she is.  Basically, she is just a badass mage who possesses the most fearsome power of Lost Logia (magic people thing) and is a Lieutenant Colonel at only the age of 19.  Hot.  Anyway.. on to see the figure!

Took about 3 weeks to arrive from Japan.  This figure was released the first week of December this year (2009).  She arrived kinda funky.. but all is good!

See what I mean?  WHIPLASH!

She came in a nice window box, though.  You can also see.. her left arm (your right, for the morons) is not in the socket.  There is no damage to the box or anything else.  I wouldn’t even call it damage.  Maybe she was trying to escape?

Side of the box.

Here is the initial pull-out from the box.  All of the little packets are stickied to the flap.  I fixed her head ;)

Here she is out of the box.  Doesn’t she look amazing?  The clothes all feel real and I just couldn’t believe it once I got her unpacked.  She was not ‘tied’ to the box in any way..  She had special elastic fabrics that went across her curves and I was amazed at them really.  I wish all figures did that.  The twisty-ties that normally come with figures sometimes can scratch the paint or wear down the PVC.

Her staff is wrapped in fabric.  Impressive.

Yes.  It is seriously a REAL book.  Has bindings and real paper.

Seeeeee?  I thought it was just going to be another.. sticker book.  I hate sticker books.

Comes with sets of hands.  One set has no gloves.. Just in case you.. ya know.. don’t want her to have any clothes?

A really good close-up of her hat.

Positioning her was not really that difficult.  She is flexible in almost any way you want.  And yes, I am going to show a lot of it.

She looks fantastic!

Getting the hat on was a little difficult.  Messing up her hair was my biggest concern.

Her under-garment? Yes, real leather.  I am not kidding either.  Those gold clips are also metal.  No plastic here.

Close-up of her jacket.  Nicely detailed.

Positioning her was not very difficult.  Getting her to stand was slightly irritating.. but that is what stands are for.  And I don’t have one.  Yey me.

Her dress is just.. awesome.  The fabric is polyester and has wiring inside of it so you can move it however you want to..  Giving the flow effect anyway you want.

See?

Got the book in her hands quite nicely.

Love the eyes.  Her face and head-shape match her character perfectly.  Well done, Azone.

Got her to stand! Not too shabby eh?

Her armor is real metal.  Hard aluminum to be exact.  Plated in REAL GOLD.  Siiiiiike.

Her skirt is a one-piece dress.. again made with leather.

Socks!  Looking at them made me giggle.  Her shoes are a nice fit and help her stand properly.

Her hair is stiff but not fake-stiff.  I really like it.  See that bow in her hair?  I had to make that.

Instructions for the hair bow.  They supply you with a sticker type fabric that you cut yourself.  I only thought she had 1 hair piece in the show.  They certainly gave me a ton of it to make more.  I DID mess up 1 strip by dropping it on the floor after peeling it.  It immediately grabbed non-existent dog hair on my floor upon landing.

Another look at the tie.  It is just stickers.

Time to strip!  Lets see some skin Hayate!  Here is her coat.

Armbands?  I guess.  Maybe gauntlets?  Whatever.. they are from her forearm.

Her dress is tied up under her armor with fabric ties.  Thank god.  These were very easy to undo and re-tie as needed.

She has a button!  I didn’t even realise it until after I untied the dress from the sides.

Other side of button.

She is happy :)  That I took off her dress?  Perhaps.

If you’re cute and you know it, clap your hands.

Just because someone is going to ask why I didn’t. PANTSUUU… and they are BLACK.. me likes.

HHAAAIIII!

This is where it starts getting fun.

My favorite shot of her :)

Since you’re already down there…

Pantsuuu!

Weeeee!  I had to hold her leg for this shot.  No pun intended.

She is all Velcro’d  up.. for now.

It’s gotta be fruit of the loom.

Let’s check out those adorable socks now that we got the boots off.

SOCKS.  ON A DOLL.  Sorry, I just can’t get over that.

She says stop looking at her ass.  And no.. I am not stripping her to bare skin :)

I told you I was not stripping her.. but PEEKS I will tolerate.  I see some boobage right there.

Hayate waves goodbye.  Making sure she keeps the sexy socks and pajamas during it.

I put all her clothes back on and put her up in display just like this.

Completely surpassed expectations.  Bravo, Azone.  My first doll for the collection and I love it very much.  There is really nothing negative to say.. Except maybe for the cheap hair sticker-ties.  They could of done something different.. Even if they added their own so that we wouldnt have to put them on ourselves.  Overall, she is a beauty and is on the top of my display.  The series is fantastic and so are a lot of the figures.  I reccomend this to anyone interested in this series.

  • Тема интересная )) автор спалил, вот только как долго она проживет на ведущихся блогах, а вот на полузаброшеных блогах если имеются высокие показатели есть смысл такое делать 100% ведь? там явно плагин не обновляет ни кто

translated it loosely for you, still dont understand it though ''R & interesting)) by sleeping, that's just how long it will live on blogger, but at poluzabroshenyh blogs where there are high rates, it makes sense to do this 100% right? there is clearly a plugin does not update or who''
